The Policy

AfterDarkCam, and the connected video chat experience our pages link into, are intended solely for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you may not use this site or the chat experience in any way — not to browse, not to read, not to "just look." Please leave now. There is no content here directed at children or minors, and none will ever be published here. The subject matter of this site — spontaneous video conversation between adult strangers, late at night — is an adult activity by its nature, and the age line around it is absolute.

Being an adult is also the assumption behind every other page here: the safety guide is written for adults making their own decisions about privacy, boundaries, and conversation, and it is worth reading in full before your first chat.

If You Encounter Someone Who Appears Underage

Age rules on the open internet are enforced imperfectly, which is why your response matters. If, during a video chat, you encounter someone who appears to be under 18 — or who says they are — do exactly two things, in this order:

Leave immediately. Do not continue the conversation. Do not ask their age again, ask for proof, lecture them, or stay to "make sure." Any continued engagement is the wrong move, whatever the intention behind it. End the chat at once.

Report it. Use the reporting tools inside the chat experience right away, so moderation can act on the account. This is the single most important report you can file, and it is never an overreaction.

Content Involving Minors

Never request, produce, share, or tolerate any sexual or exploitative content involving minors, in any context, under any framing. This is not a site rule; it is a serious crime in virtually every jurisdiction on earth. If you encounter such content or someone seeking it, end contact immediately, report it through the chat experience, and consider reporting it to law enforcement in your country.
